Author Brings a Message of Hope and Encouragement in New Book

Croydon, UK (PRWEB) August 29, 2011

From author Nkoyo Rapu comes the first in her lifestyle book series: The Gilded Cage. It is a riveting read which brings some measure of hope and encouragement to people who are desperate and feel trapped by events in their lives which are beyond their control. This book also examines the issue of the mystery of unanswered prayers.

In life, there are moments when people feel unloved, insecure and disconsolate. At times they may feel cheated, frustrated and angry because like the ‘proverbial’ Jacob, they have been forced to work for seven extra years to see the actualization of the long-awaited ‘promise’. The Gilded Cage is about always identifying the silver lining in the dark clouds that lurk on the horizon. It’s about choosing to see the glass always as half full instead of half empty. When circumstances are viewed from this perspective, people are better able to weather the inevitable storms of life. The book also encourages the reader to trust that God’s presence remains with them in every storm; they have His guidance when they are confused and can see His light at the end of every dark tunnel.

Through The Gilded Cage, the reader will also join the author as she examines the mystery of unanswered prayers in the light of what could be termed ‘the ultimate pursuit of godliness’. It’s all about knowing God for who He is rather than for what He can provide or do.
